The UAE's strong economic growth should be a strong lever for textile exports.
"Economic growth in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is expected to accelerate in 2022 due to increased hydrocarbon production and exports. A sharp rise in oil revenues will also boost domestic demand. Private consumption (35% of GDP) is expected to be the main driver due to economic normalization through the high vaccination rate (90%), rising confidence, and some reforms implemented by the authorities to attract foreign workers and residents who had deserted in 2020 (i.e., long-term residency visa, retirement visa, prohibition of employee passports, unemployment protection, etc.)."
