On November 26, 2014, amendments to the Technical Regulation CU TR 008/2011 of the Eurasian Economic Union "On Toy Safety", adopted by the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on May 14, 2024, No. 50, came into force.

On 6 septembre 2024, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission made a decision to amend the technical regulation of the Customs Union of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) CU TR 005/2011 on the Safety of Packaging. The decision will come into effect on March 5, 2025.
