By its Decision No. 34, the EEC Council established a transitional period for the implementation of the amendments to the technical regulation CU TR 033/2013 "Safety of milk and milk products". The amendments were approved by the EEC Council Decision N°143 of 23 September 2022. Both documents will enter into force on 22 September 2023.
Decision No. 34 establishes the following procedure:

documents relating to the state registration of products (information in the unified register of specialised food products) issued before 22 September 2023 are valid until their expiry date, but not later than 180 calendar days from that date;

documents attesting conformity for products whose requirements have been modified by Decision No 143 published before 22 September 2023 shall be valid until their expiry date, but not later than 180 calendar days from that date;
-
the production and circulation of dairy products with conformity assessment documents issued before 22 September 2023 shall be allowed for 180 days after the entry into force of Decision No 143;
-
the circulation of dairy products with conformity assessment documents issued before 22 September 2023 is allowed until their expiry date.
