On April 27, 2016 started a public discussion of the possible amendments to the technical regulation of the Customs Union CU TR 018/2011 “Safety of wheeled vehicles”. The amendments are going to be discussed during 20 days.
The main changes are connected with the last two articles of Annex No. 2 “List of requirements regarding types of vehicles (chassis) which are put into circulation”. Thus, starting from 2018 in order to conform with the requirements of the regulation vehicles would have to be equipped with a system/device of calling emergency services.
The technical regulation of the Customs Union CU TR 018 “Safety of wheeled vehicles” was adopted by the decision No. 877 of the Commission of the Customs Union dated December 9, 2011. It came into force on January 1, 2015.
