Starting from April 25th, 2016 the public discussion opened regarding the elaboration of draft technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union and the amendments to be introduced into technical regulations of the Customs Union currently in force. This plan was validated by the decision No. 79 of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated October 1st, 2014.
The technical regulation, which is going to be amended is CU TR 028/2012 “On safety of explosives and products on their basis”. The amendments consist in defining the list of indicators necessary for estimating the safety of elements and products on their basis in order to comply with the requirements of the regulation. The deadline for presenting to the Eurasian Economic Committee – 3rd quarter 2016.
Draft technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union being elaborated:
- Technical Regulation “On safety of fish and fish products” validated by the order No. 53 of April 19th, 2016.
This regulation defines the classification of products and procedures of conformity assessment in the following way:
- Conformity assessment in the form of declaration for alimentary fish products
- State registration for alimentary fish products intended for the children
- Veterinary and sanitary expertise for non-processed alimentary fish products of animal origin
Draft technical regulation "On requirements for mineral fertilizers” was excluded from the plan of elaboration of new technical regulations. Its draft was validated on April 19th, 2016 (order No. 52 of the Eurasian Economic Commission).
The public discussion of the plan is open during 20 days starting from April 25, 2016.
